Project Curiosity on Mars - Part III

THAT WAS SEPTEMBER 9, 2012, around 12AM
At, ka-text ko siya.

“may tanong ako.. mabilis ka ba magsawa?”, ako.
“depende sa bagay.. bakit mo natanong?”, si Alvin.
“hmm.. kasi gusto ko ng kasagutan.. ahe. Waley.”
“eto ang isa sa pinakaayaw ko na ugali, madali ako magsawa. Ganito raw ang may Asperger Syndrome. Pero gusto ko siya ma-overcome.”
“ouch.”
Oo. nung mga oras na yun,
talagang kinabahan ako.
Sabi ko sa sarili ko,
Bakit ngayon ko lang natanong ‘to? O bakit ngayon ko lang 'to nalaman?
Noon pa lang tinanggap ko na siya, lahat ng past niya, buong siya.
Kahit na nagkakaganon siya.
Kahit na sabihin bang nangako siya,
Nagso-sorry ako pero natatakot akong mawala siya.
Di ko sinasabing wala akong tiwala sa mga sinasabi niya,
Pero, ang harapin ang katotohanan, yun ang paano ko matututunan?
“gusto ko siya ma-overcome para sayo.. medyo natatakot ako na magkaganun ako.. pero sabi ko eh depende sa bagay. Hindi ka bagay, tao ka... Io-overcome ko ito.”
Di ko alam kung kaya ko pang maniwala.
Umiiyak na ko ng mga oras na yun.
Sobrang bigat sa pakiramdam.
Yung tipong sa sakit eh nahihirapan akong huminga.

“kung ito ang sisira sa atin, I will defy this. Neji, HINDI AKO MAGSASAWA SA IYO. Dahil…”
Nung mga oras na yun, walang tigil ang hiling ko na sana andito siya ngayon sa harap ko.
Mangako siya ulit sa harapan ko.
Nag-hihintay ang hinliliit ko.
Gusto ko mahawakan ang kamay niya ngayon.
Gusto ko siyang makita ngayon.
Pero iyak at pag hiling lang ang tanging nagagawa ko.

“Neji, di ko alam kung ito ang tamang oras…”
“anong ibig mong sabihin?”

“sana nasabi ko na ito habang may tawag ka pa o di ko alam kung masyado pa itong maaga sa ngayon.”
Hindi ko na siya maintindihan.
Naba-blanko ako.
Umiiyak lang ako ng mga oras na yun.
Sobrang bigat sa pakiramdam.
Yung tipong sa sakit eh nahihirapan akong huminga.

“di ako magsasawa sayo kase…”

“kung darating sa puntong yun, tanggapin ko na lang since wala ako magagawa pag ganun.. mahalaga, hanggang di pa dumadating yung time na yun eh tutulungan kita para mapatunayan pa rin na andito lang ako para sayo.. kung ano man yan, maiging sa martes nalang siguro.. napapagod na ko mag-isip. Tapos ang bigat ng luha ko, baka mag-maga mata ko..”

“sige sa martes ko na lang sasabihin.. sorry kung inamin ko yun.. pero yun yung totoo at gusto ko malampasan yun para sayo. Sige pahinga ka na at please.. wag ka matakot. Nandito lang ako palagi para sayo. Wag ka na rin umiyak.. :’c ”

Pero bago pa makarating ang martes ay nasabi na rin niya sa akin ang dapat niyang sabihin.
“di ko nasabi na mabilis ako magsawa sa hobby. Pero once nakakilala ako ng kaibigan sa isang tao, di ko siya pinagsasawaan makaibigan. Pero ibang kaso sayo, higit ka pa sa kaibigan. Super friend ka nga ika ko. Kung friend, di ko pinagsasawaan. Paano pa kaya kung special friend?”

Foodtrip at Burpees Bunk

One Sunday afternoon, we visited Burpees Bunk Restaurant. They are located at CMPR Bldg, San Gregorio St., Brgy Uno, Indang, Cavite. Computer shop yung dating nakapwesto dito, na lagi ko noon tinatambayan nung nag aadik pa ko sa online games. Ngayon, isa na siyang bagong tambayan ng mga gustong mag foodtrip.

It's just a small, simple place, but cozy and well-ventilated. It has a vibe of Japanese because you have to remove your shoes, and its Japanese floor seating table with cushions. Patok yung mga gantong style ngayon, lalo na sa mga kabataan.

They also have board games. While waiting for our orders, we played scrabble, and jenga.

Cheesy bacon fries. So cheesy! I love it!

Burpees Spaghetti. Looks ordinary, but tastes extraordinary.

Buffalo-style fried chicken. Panalo 'to guys, a must try!

Strawberry milkshake and milk tea. Push mo yan tea!

Thumbs up for the food, staff, and place! Kung may ire-recommend man ako for improvement, siguro they should play music to complete the chill vibe sa place.
We will come back for sure. I wanna try their burger steak with garlic rice. I bet my sister wants to try their nachos. Join ka? 😊

Joyride + Food Experience in Purple Beetle Café Twin Lakes

Wandering and eating are some things my sister and I love to do together. One Sunday, we roamed around Silang, Cavite and Tagaytay City to find a new good place to hangout. Until it was already past lunch and we're a bit hungry, we looked for a place to eat. I already tried a lot of restaurants and cafes in Tagaytay City. But this one that I'm going to share to you is kinda new. It's our joyride dining experience in Purple Beetle Cafe - Twin Lakes

For those who like to collect lovely photos, for sure they will love this place (so yung mga may Instagram dyan, alam na! XD). The ambiance is so girly because of its purple+pink colors. Plus, you can see the breath-taking view of Taal Lake from here. Keep on reading to see! ;)

The history of this cafe is interesting. Its name was after the purple beetle toy car of the owner's child. Purple Beetle Cafe is not only a good place to eat and chill. The said cafe also has an online shop, where they showcase and sell handcrafted accessories, decorations, and home-made products.

Books and board games are usual in every cafe. But this cafe has coloring activity to offer if you feel a bit dull. They have here coloring pens and pages. Interesting, right? :)

I ordered TapSiLog, Mango Sundae, and English Tea, while my sister ordered Chicken Buffalo Wings and Cucumber Lemonade. All in big servings. :) 

Chicken Buffalo Wings: 4/5, lack of sauce, but the taste and quality is not compromised.

Picture with sissy. Staff are approachable, and they are always smiling. They are fast, we didn't wait for our orders that long. :)

More space outside. It would be nice to dine here if it was not hot that time. It was around 2PM, and the sun rays made the spot hot. So we chose to eat inside.
