Swiss Inspired Staycation at Crosswinds Tagaytay

Tagaytay City is my favorite place to escape from a toxic life for the meantime. It's easy for me to get into here since I reside only an hour away from this place. The said city is also one of the most visited places in the country because of its cool weather, and its tourists spots, especially the scenic view of Taal Volcano. Many people loves to travel here especially during weekends, and one thing to consider in your visit here is where to stay. I recommend Crosswinds Luxury Resort.

Crosswinds Luxury Resort is located at Barangay Iruhin Central, Calamba Rd., Tagaytay City. The place is popular because of its Swiss inspired ambiance, and it brings you closer to nature because of the greenery surroundings. Definitely, a nature-lover like me would love this place. The said resort is just few kilometers away from the city's tourists attractions like Picnic Grove and People's Park in the Sky.

My sister and I planned a 2 days 1 night staycation at Crosswinds. We booked the One Bedroom Suite good for 4 pax. See below for details:

It is ideal to bring a car when you go here because the hotel is quite far from the entrance, and it's an uphill-downhill travel inside the resort. But if you will come here with no car just like what we did, a shuttle is available to pick you up at the entrance. You just have to pay Php50.00 per head/ride.

We bought our food before we proceed here because there's no restaurant inside the resort. But there's a restaurant and cafe available just few meters away before the resort's entrance: the Cafe Voila and The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Our check in time is 1 PM. We arrived around 12 noon and chose to stay a bit at the resort's entrance for some photo ops.

At 1 PM, we arrived at the Grand Quartier 2.

And here ya go the short tour of the unit. :D

After exploring the room and unloading our things, we rested for an hour. Then we went to Grand Quartier 3, where the fitness gym and indoor swimming pool are located. It's just walking distance from Grand Quartier 2.

At 7 PM we decided to go back to our room for dinner. We had samgyupsal for dinner. Good thing the unit has full-equipped kitchen so I was able to cook our food.

We spent some hours at the balcony after eating. We enjoyed the cool night breeze and the night view while having a heart-to-heart talk over coffee and vape (yes, smoking is allowed at the balcony. not inside, because there's a smoke detector). And we went to sleep at 1 AM. :D

I woke up at 5 AM to prepare our breakfast. After eating, we spent more time for photo ops. We also went back at Quartier 3 for picture taking.

We checked out at 11 AM, and went to outdoor pool area before leaving the resort.
